3. Purposes and legal basis
- Replying to your enquiry and preparing a proposal — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Performance of a contract — construction supervision, estimating, inspection and other services (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Compliance with legal obligations — keeping accounting and construction documentation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Legitimate interests — keeping a record of correspondence, website security and defence of legal claims (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not use the data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing messages without separate consent.
4. Retention periods
- Enquiries that do not lead to cooperation — up to 12 months from the last contact.
- Contract and billing documents — for the term of the contract and thereafter for as long as required by law for accounting source documents (generally 5 years).
- Supervision and inspection documentation — in accordance with the requirements of Latvian construction legislation.
- Server log entries — for the period set by the hosting provider.
5. Recipients
We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to third parties for marketing purposes. Limited access may be held by:
- the website hosting and email service provider;
- the technical provider that delivers contact-form submissions;
- the accounting service provider;
- state and municipal authorities where required by law (for example, data to be entered in the Latvian Construction Information System);
- legal advisers in the event of a dispute.
6. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
The website uses Google Fonts typefaces loaded from Google servers. As a result, the visitor's IP address and technical browser information become available to that service provider. No other third-party scripts (analytics, advertising or social-media pixels) are used on the website.
7. Cookies
The website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or visitor tracking. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and similar tools are not used, and no information enabling recognition of a visitor on later visits is stored on the visitor's device.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- be informed about what data concerning you is processed and to request a copy;
- request rectification of inaccurate data;
- request erasure or restriction of processing, to the extent not limited by law;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
